Gure politikariek pairatzen duten gutxiengotasun konplexuak -Stockholmeko sindromea, agian?- inoizko mailarik gorena erdietsi du, martxoan egin berri diren hauteskundeen ostean.
Badirudi «hauteskunde datu txarrek» baldintzatzen eta are zehazten dutela hurrengo urteetako prozesu «politiko» guztia -galdera inozo bat: zilegi ote da hauteskunde emaitza «onik», Espainiako gaur egungo erregimenaren barnean?-.
Lehenbizi honako kontu hau aztertu behar da: etorkizuneko prozesuari buruzko aurreikuspen horretan, zehaztea zenbat diren datu sozial «objektiboak» eta zenbat diren «norbere iragarpenei» dagozkienak; alegia, zeintzuek betetzen dituzten oinarri-oinarrian desira ezkutuak, esplizituki adierazi gabekoak, baina kanpainan zehar nork bere «aldaketa politikoa» zuritzeko baliatutako leloak. Politikari horiexek, orain, bozkalekuetan «garaituta sentitzen direlako», aitzakia baten bila baino ez dabiltza, eroso sentiarazten dieten horma hilobi bakarrera itzultzeko. Itzulerako bidea egitea izango litzateke, hainbeste alditan ibilitako bide ibilietan zehar, PSOErantz. «Amaren sabeleranzko itzulera» edipikoa? Antza denez, hainbeste urtean eraman gaituzten kale itsu horretan argiren bat aurkitu ahal izateko, iraganeko errezeta zaharkituetara jotzea baino hoberik ez zaie bururatzen, jakinik ere lehendik erdietsitako lorpenak bertan behera uztea ekarri zutela haiek ondorio nabarmen gisa. Gogora ekarri besterik ez dugu, esaterako, Gasteizko gobernuaren hezkuntza saileko «Buesaren aldia».
Bestalde, politika hautabiderik eza sumatzen da, edota halakorik badenik ezkutatzeko ahalegina, testuinguru espainiar-frantziarretik edo atentatuek darabilten estutzeko ahalmen balizkotik eratorritako «politikakeria» alderdikoi eta egoeran egoerakoei aurre egiteko. Baldin eta Euskal Herria nazio bat dela uste badugu, hartarako edo subjektu politiko izateko ahalmena eta indarra badituela uste dugulako da; eta, pentsamendu halakoak, gizartean barneratua dagoenez gero, indar benetakoa eragiten du. Estutasun horrek, ordea, ez dirudi elkarrekikotasunik ageri duenik beren burua «euskal indar politikotzat» daukatenen artean. Eta ez du halakorik izan ere egin «trantsizio» ospetsuaren aldiaz geroztik bederen.
Gaur egun argi eta garbi dakusagu, berriro ere, «etengabeko itzulera» delakoa. Xavier Rubert de Ventosek hainbat artikulu argitaratu ditu oraindik orain, Avui egunkarian --2008ko martxoaren 16an, 17an eta 18an--, Dena izango da polita eta zorionekoa izenburupean. Hona hemen zer dioen haietako pasarte batzuetan:
«Nazionalista, ni? Ezta behar ere. Kontent nengoke Estatu bat izatearekin. Gainera, Estatu batentzat samurragoa da nazio bat sendotzea edota asmatzea ere, nazio batentzat Estatu bat lortzea baino...».
«Dena izango da polita eta zorionekoa, aldiz, hala-holako Estatu bat dugularik geurean; Estatu ez oso handi bat, egia esateko, merkatuak eta finantzek gainerako estatu guztiei bezainbeste bakarrik eragingo diotena, ez gehiago ez gutxiago.
«...Dagoeneko ez dugu izango, azkenean, burua berotuko digun nortasunik. Kataluniarra izatea ezustekoa izango da, huskeria hutsala; zenbaitzuk horretaz harro ere egoteraino. Orduan, 'egunerokotasuneko mekanismoak' izango ditugu, nortasunezko nazionalismo asaldatuen ordez».
«...Kataluniaren nortasuna -as-ke izango baita, azkenean-, gehiegi ez edukitzean egongo da aurrerantzean: ez hainbesteko nortasunik, ez hainbesteko hizkuntzarik, ez hainbesteko jomuga agerikorik. Ez eta ezertxo ere. Nortasunak, bai, baina asko -baita gaur egun Ravalen borbor dagitenak ere-. Dena, hori dena, Katalunian independente izaten denean gertatuko da -edo sekula ez-. Benetako transbertsaltasuna, beraz, Nafarroako Estatu independente, Nafarroako Errepublika izaten garenean -edo sekula ez- iritsiko da, Rubert de Ventosek bere artikuluetan ongi baino hobeto dioenez, Kataluniari buruz ari delarik.

FOCUSING THE PROBLEM

Our political culture, heritage of the only independent state created by the Basques, Navarre, alive despite centuries of imposition and domination, is a first order for its achievement.

I believe that the longer the delay the debate and practice necessary for the achievement of the Republic of Navarre will be our most serious problems. And that democracy will be further away from Europe, including, of course, France and Spain.

NAVARRA 2012
El próximo martes día 10 de junio de 2008 presentaremos en Koldo Mitxelena de Donostia la campaña Navarra 1512-2012. La referencia se ha elegido por constituir 2012 el aniversario "redondo" de un hecho simbólicamente fundamental en las diversas fases de ocupación y sometimiento de nuestro pueblo. 2012 es el 500 aniversario del inicio de la conquista, por parte de Castilla (muy pronto se convertirá en España) del territorio y población simbólica y numéricamente más importantes del Reino de Navarra. El 25 de julio del citado año el Duque de Alba conquistó su capital, Iruñea.
Navarra fue el único Estado pleno, independiente y soberano que el pueblo vasco generó a lo largo de su historia. Este hecho ha sido ocultado por extraños y propios, por tirios y troyanos, pero constituye la clave para la interpretación de nuestra supervivencia como sociedad diferenciada de nuestros "vecinos", por llamarlos de algún modo. Lengua, cultura y organización política y social y nuestro patrimonio en general han llegado hasta el siglo XXI, con todas las pérdidas y desgarros que se derivan de los hechos violentos que hemos sufrido, gracias a la capacidad histórica de nuestro pueblo para generar un Estado propio y mantenerlo durante largos siglos.
Estos hechos deben contribuir a nuestra reafirmación, a reforzar nuestra autoestima, sobre todo cuando españoles y franceses "utilizan" la "historia" (su versión, claro está) en nuestra contra. Los vascos "nunca habéis tenido un Estado", nos escupen con desprecio. Eso es sencillamente falso. Gracias a ese evento histórico de larga duración estamos donde estamos y tenemos capacidad para reivindicar hoy nuestra voluntad de ser independientes.
La campaña que se inicia no tiene como objetivo rememorar etapas pasadas, no plantea una actitud añorante y melancólica, no es un llanto por las desgracias sufridas. Es un acto de afirmación de nuestra voluntad de futuro. Vasconia necesita, ante los acuciantes retos del presente, disponer de esa herramienta que permite a las naciones ser sociedades equilibradas, sostenibles y solidarias: el Estado propio, la República de Navarra.
Ese el el grito de nuestra campaña para 2012: Nafarroa bizirik!
